August 6, 2008 - MIAMI, FL - South Florida has produced some big-name writers, now
Linda Corley, a local South Florida Public Television producer is hoping to join
their ranks. Linda Corley's first book, THE KENNEDY FAMILY ALBUM, hits bookstores on
September 8th. For more than two decades local audiences have watched Linda Corley's
Emmy Award-winning work on WPBT Channel 2 Public Television. As a producer Linda has
usually been in the background, though she's done a lot of on-air reporting. \"I\'m
most comfortable writing and working the behind-the-scenes and I have always found
that very gratifying,\" says Corley. However, her low visibility is about to change
as she steps into the national spotlight to promote her first book.

Now, for the first time in book form, Davidoff's Kennedy photos of their days in the
sun - in Palm Beach as well as in Hyannis Port, Sun Valley, and other favorite
getaway spots. Many never-before-seen photos have been collected in THE KENNEDY
FAMILY ALBUM: PERSONAL PHOTOS OF AMERICA'S FIRST FAMILY (Running Press,
978-1-56025-923-7, September 2008, $29.95).

Up until his death in 2004, Bob Davidoff had been the photographer in residence at
the Kennedy's "Winter White House" - better known as their Palm Beach home. For
almost fifty years, Davidoff, also an Associated Press (AP) Photographer, chronicled
the extended Kennedy clan on holiday, capturing the youthful John F. Kennedy and his
beautiful family during their moments of fun and relaxation.

The legendary Davidoff was a fixture in the Kennedy Florida household, and many of
his rare photographs eventually landed in the personal scrapbooks of the Kennedys,
and are still treasured by members of the family today.

Clearly an integral part of the Kennedy clan, Senator Edward M. Kennedy remarked in
the book's foreword,

"Bob Davidoff was a magnificent photographer and a loyal friend. His remarkable
personality and charming sense of humor had us all smiling whenever he aimed his
camera our way. For me, his legacy will live on in the wonderful photographs he took
of our family over the years."

Linda Corley, an Emmy Award-winning writer, and a close friend of Bob Davidoff,
interviewed in him before his death, which brought to light the wonderful stories
associated with the many never-before seen photos of the Kennedy family in Palm
Beach. The interview provided the anecdotes behind the pictures and captures many of
the family's unscripted moments, from Jackie surprising her husband on the tarmac of
the Palm Beach airport to Rose leading a family sing-along in her home.

From fancy balls, formal benefits, and important charity events such as the Special
Olympics, to lounging on the presidential yacht the Honey Fitz, shopping on Worth
Avenue, and Easter Mass at St. Edward's Church, THE KENNEDY FAMILY ALBUM paints a
personal portrait of the daily lives of America's First Family.

Those closest to the Kennedy clan are also featured throughout, including matriarch
Rose, John F. Kennedy's brother-in-laws Steven Smith and Peter Lawford, and Eunice
Kennedy, Robert Shriver, and their five children.

From the "Camelot" years, to the Jackie-O era, to the following generation, Bob
Davidoff was not only witness to, but captured the many good times along the way.
Now for the first time, these photos (some never-before-seen by the public) have
been compiled in this volume, making THE KENNEDY FAMILY ALBUM a truly unique and
unstaged portrait of "America's Royal Family."
